Domaine de la Chevalerie “Galichets” is made from 100% old Cabernet Franc vines, the berries of this cuvée were harvested by hand. After a short maceration and traditional vinification, aging takes place in old barrels. The Galichets cuvée has a red, intense color, with purple reflections. On the nose, it is a nice bouquet of red fruits, sweet spices and bitter orange. Airing reveals notes of plum. In the mouth, the wine is rich with fine tannins and hints of mint. To taste with a rack of veal or also perfect on a mushroom “poêlée”.
