This spanning 35 hectares property, helmed by Bertrand Caslot, focuses on careful soil cultivation and the vibrant purity of the fruit. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Cabernet Franc across Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Domaine de la Cabernelle produces wines from two major appellations : Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Bourgueil. The vineyard is cultivated organically : no synthetic or insecticide treatment is used in the vines and the addition of sulfur during vinification is very limited.

Domaine de la Cabernelle requests a small fee for tasting wine on site. The winery has received the Loire Valley Quality Cellars label which rewards the quality of its wine tasting experience.
