Château Yvonne stands as a dedicated benchmark of biodynamic viticulture in the Loire Valley. This spanning 11 hectares estate, helmed by Mathieu Vallée, places utmost importance on working in harmony with natural rhythms and preserving living soils. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Saumur, Saumur Champigny. Château Yvonne produces wines from two major appellations : Saumur Champigny and Saumur. The vineyard is cultivated biodynamically, an approach that takes organic farming a step further : use of plant-based preparations to help the vines grow stronger, even more limited addition of sulfur, respect for the lunar calendar, … Château Yvonne has received our "Very nice wines" badge.
