About the Winery
Established in 1886, Domaine Catherine et Pierre Breton carries forward an authentic family winemaking tradition known for remarkable consistency. This spanning 11 hectares estate, helmed by Catherine & Pierre Breton, harmoniously combines generational expertise with modern precision. Careful vinification and patient maturation take place in spectacular troglodyte cellars carved deep into limestone bedrock, creating an ideal setting to elevate Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Bourgueil, Chinon, Vouvray. The estate also provides on-site guest lodgings surrounded by vines, creating an idyllic setting for an extended, relaxing wine getaway in the Loire Valley.

Domaine Catherine et Pierre Breton produces wines from different Loire Valley appellations such as Bourgueil, Vouvray, Chinon. The vineyard is cultivated to produce natural wines, i.e. from grapes grown in organic or biodynamic agriculture and vinified without synthetic or chemical products except sulfur dioxide which is essential for the preservation of wine.
