Château de la Grille produces wines of aristocratic finesse, distinguished internationally by their bespoke eighteenth-century antique bottle shape. Crafted from mature Cabernet Franc vines rooted in rich clay-limestone and tuffeau slopes, the estate's flagship red Chinon is hand-harvested with rigorous bunch selection before undergoing twelve to fifteen months of patient aging in French oak casks. It displays a deep ruby gown, complex notes of ripe blackcurrant, dark cherry, sweet spice, and delicate violet, framed by silky, polished tannins and exceptional longevity. The estate also crafts a delicate and floral Chinon rosé alongside an elegant sparkling cuvée. To ensure peak enjoyment, the domaine matures its bottles in cool cellars for several years before release, delivering wines ready to be savored at full complexity.
