This spanning 20 hectares property, helmed by Dominique & Jean-Luc Duveau, focuses on careful soil cultivation and the vibrant purity of the fruit. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Cabernet Franc across Bourgueil, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Domaine du Rochouard produces wines from two major appellations : Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Bourgueil. The vineyard is cultivated organically since 2015 : no synthetic or insecticide treatment is used in the vines and the addition of sulfur during vinification is very limited. Domaine du Rochouard has received our "Superb wines" badge. This badge distinguishes wineries who produce very high quality wines, consistently … and praised by French wine critics.
