Domaine de l'Enchantoir exemplifies the dedication of organic winemaking in the Loire Valley. This spanning 17 hectares property, helmed by Jean-Michel & Fabienne Brun, focuses on careful soil cultivation and the vibrant purity of the fruit. Careful vinification and patient maturation take place in spectacular troglodyte cellars carved deep into limestone bedrock, creating an ideal setting to elevate Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Saumur, Saumur Puy Notre Dame. During your visit, you will enjoy a warm, attentive cellar-door welcome complete with insightful explanations of the winemaking process and a guided tasting of the estate's vintages.

Domaine de l'Enchantoir produces wines from two major appellations : Saumur and Saumur Puy Notre Dame. The vineyard is cultivated organically : no synthetic or insecticide treatment is used in the vines and the addition of sulfur during vinification is very limited.

Domaine de l'Enchantoir requests a small fee for tasting wine on site. Domaine de l'Enchantoir also offers additional activities around wine and winemaking such as the visit of the cellar, a troglodyte cellar to visit, the visit of the vineyard, … The winery has received the Loire Valley Quality Cellars label which rewards the quality of its wine tasting experience.
