Compared to other Loire appellations producing dry white wines, such as Vouvray or Muscadet, Savennières showed exceptional resilience to the challenging weather of 2012, thanks to its privileged terroirs and meticulous winemaking. This vintage displays exceptional intensity and structure, albeit slightly below the most abundant years. A score of 4.1/5 captures this balance of rarity and excellence.
