The 2010 Savennières vintage is a true success, described as “Divine” for its exceptional quality. This year, climatic conditions alternated between warmth and coolness, with early harvests that allowed for rapid and optimal maturation of the grapes. Despite uneven flowering and variations between parcels, the vintage produced wines that are very structured, reminiscent of 2006 but with a less tense profile than 2008. Climatic conditions favored precise winemaking, with few treatments, and the harvest was completed swiftly with no major incidents like mildew or oidium. Compared to other Loire appellations producing dry white wines, Savennières 2010 stands out for its finesse and complexity, offering beautiful aromatic richness. In terms of quantity, the harvest was average, although the demanding harvest required more work in the vineyards. Rating: 4.4/5.
