The 2024 vintage for Saumur white wines is a standout qualitative success, proudly earning its ‘Superb’ rating. On the Saumur tuffeau limestone slopes, Chenin Blanc drew radiant minerality while benefiting from cool nights that refined its aromatics. Although yields were very low following early-season weather events, the wines in cellar display remarkable energy: aromas of Williams pear, ripe citrus, and hawthorn blossom, framed by chiseled acidity and a chalky finish.
