About the Winery
Domaine Fouet exemplifies the dedication of organic winemaking in the Loire Valley. This spanning 22 hectares property, helmed by Julien Fouet, focuses on careful soil cultivation and the vibrant purity of the fruit. Careful vinification and patient maturation take place in spectacular troglodyte cellars carved deep into limestone bedrock, creating an ideal setting to elevate Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Saumur, Saumur Champigny. The estate also provides on-site guest lodgings surrounded by vines, creating an idyllic setting for an extended, relaxing wine getaway in the Loire Valley.

Domaine Fouet produces wines from two major appellations : Saumur Champigny and Saumur. The vineyard is cultivated organically since 2020 : no synthetic or insecticide treatment is used in the vines and the addition of sulfur during vinification is very limited. Domaine Fouet has received our "Very nice wines" badge. This badge distinguishes wineries whose wines are regularly mentioned in French wine guides.

Domaine Fouet proposes free wine tasting on site.
