Domaine du Mortier is a fine artisanal estate in the Loire wine country, celebrated for the authentic character and elegance of its cuvées. This spanning 16 hectares property, helmed by Cyril & Fabien Boisard, is committed to expressing the true identity of its appellation soils. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Cabernet Franc across Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil, Vin de France. Domaine du Mortier produces wines from two major appellations : Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Vin de France. The vineyard is cultivated to produce natural wines, i.e. from grapes grown in organic or biodynamic agriculture and vinified without synthetic or chemical products except sulfur dioxide which is essential for the preservation of wine. Domaine du Mortier has received our "Very nice wines" badge. This badge distinguishes wineries whose wines are regularly mentioned in French wine guides.
