A visit to a troglodyte cellar in Vouvray? Look no further, the Bourillon Dorléans winery tour is the thing to do. Because at the Bourillon Dorléans winery, the walls of the cellar have been artistically carved into the rock by local artists. This beautiful art work tells the story of Saint-Martin, the famous monk and soldier (whose legend says that he introduced vines in the region of Vouvray).

On the wine side, a nice visit to the cellar will allow you to taste white wines, exclusively, but with a nice variety of types : sparkling, dry and to sweet wines. The more complex cuvées, Saint Martin and Indigène, are superb subtle wines, with a nice length in the mouth. Not to be missed.
