This spanning 37 hectares estate, helmed by Xavier Amirault, places utmost importance on working in harmony with natural rhythms and preserving living soils. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Crémant de Loire, Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil. Clos des Quarterons produces wines from two major appellations : Saint-Nicolas-de-Bourgueil and Crémant de Loire. The vineyard is cultivated biodynamically, an approach that takes organic farming a step further : use of plant-based preparations to help the vines grow stronger, even more limited addition of sulfur, respect for the lunar calendar, … Clos des Quarterons has received our "Superb wines" badge.
