Established in 1766, Clos de la Meslerie carries forward an authentic family winemaking tradition known for remarkable consistency. This spanning 4 hectares estate, helmed by Peter Hahn, harmoniously combines generational expertise with modern precision. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Chenin Blanc across Vouvray. Clos de la Meslerie produces Vouvray wines. The vineyard is cultivated to produce natural wines, i.e. from grapes grown in organic or biodynamic agriculture and vinified without synthetic or chemical products except sulfur dioxide which is essential for the preservation of wine. Clos de la Meslerie has received our "Very nice wines" badge. This badge distinguishes wineries whose wines are regularly mentioned in French wine guides.
