This family-scaled property, helmed by Agnès & Pierre-Antoine Giovannoni, focuses on careful soil cultivation and the vibrant purity of the fruit. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Anjou, Coteaux du Layon, Crémant de Loire. The estate also provides on-site guest lodgings surrounded by vines, creating an idyllic setting for an extended, relaxing wine getaway in the Loire Valley.

Château de la Viaudière produces wines from different Loire Valley appellations such as Coteaux du Layon, Anjou, Crémant de Loire. The vineyard is cultivated organically : no synthetic or insecticide treatment is used in the vines and the addition of sulfur during vinification is very limited.

Château de la Viaudière requests a small fee for tasting wine on site. Château de la Viaudière also offers additional activities around wine and winemaking such as the visit of the vineyard, wine games, wine tasting with food boards with cheese or cold meat, self-caring accommodation, winery-made meals, … The winery has received the Loire Valley Cellars of Excellence label which rewards the quality of its wine tasting experience and wine-related activities.
