The Vouvray appellation produces exclusively white wines from a single grape variety: Chenin Blanc. If Vouvray is particularly known for its “bubbly” (or sparkling) wines, Vouvray is also available in the widest range of styles: dry, off-dry, semi-sweet and sweet white wines (depending on the level of residual sugars in the bottle).
