Saumur rouge from Domaine Guiberteau is a the winery’s entry-level price wine, but really well made! On the nose, a wide range of aromas: red fruits, typical of cabernet franc, but also beautiful notes of berries and smoky nuances. On the palate it’s fleshy and tense, it will probably take a few minutes for the aromas to fully reveal themselves. Saumur rouge is a very nice wine from Domaine Guiberteau : a beautifully crafted wine, with great body and fleshy tanins.
