Le Clos de la Plante Martin from Domaine Charles Joguet offers a pronounced nose of citrus fruits and honey. An organic dry white wine with frank acidity. On the palate, a very nice presence: apple, peach, quince… and of course citrus fruits, as it should be for a Chenin Blanc from the Loire Valley. Note also the beautiful length. The chenin blanc gives here a wine imbued with minerality and freshness. The Clos de la Plante Martin of Domaine Charles Joguet? A Touraine that leans towards the (too) rare white Chinon wines!
