This spanning 12 hectares estate, helmed by Monique & Tessa Laroche, places utmost importance on working in harmony with natural rhythms and preserving living soils. In both the vineyard and cellar, every step preserves the natural freshness and aromatic definition of the grapes, crafting expressive wines centered on Chenin Blanc and Cabernet Franc across Anjou, Savennières. Domaine aux Moines produces wines from two major appellations : Anjou and Savennières. The vineyard is cultivated biodynamically, an approach that takes organic farming a step further : use of plant-based preparations to help the vines grow stronger, even more limited addition of sulfur, respect for the lunar calendar, … Domaine aux Moines has received our "Very nice wines" badge.
