This is the cuv\u00e9e produced from vines located in a plot in the lower part of the hillside (hence the name &#8220;Pied de la Butte&#8221;, meaning &#8220;foof of the hill&#8221; in French). This Bourgueil wine is 100% Cabernet Franc, as it should be in the appellation. Dark crimson color. On the palate, it is complex, notes of spices, pepper, red fruits, earth, leather.
