The “Divine Loire” project began in 2019 with the ambition to promote Loire wines, its wineries, and wine tourism in the Loire Valley.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wine tourism is a major asset of the Loire Valley. Quality hospitality, vineyard diversity, affordable wines, visits to certified wineries\u2026 Every year, 6 million people come to meet winemakers and taste their wines. Not to mention the region’s rich historical heritage: wines and ch\u00e2teaux, like nowhere else, exclusively on the Loire wine route!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a year of preparatory work, it was launched in March 2020.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Divineloire.fr is online and continues to grow with optimism. The goal is to introduce Loire wines to as many people as possible and to make visiting the region\u2019s wineries easier, from Angers to Blois\u2014covering over 70 appellations in total.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I created Divine Loire to raise awareness about the divine Loire Valley and its wonderful wines. Married to a woman from Tours and a descendant of a great-grandfather who was a winemaker in Coteaux du Layon, I now live in Tours, the capital of the Loire Valley. Half Scottish, half French, I can’t stand half-empty glasses!<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n
